Before our customers can do business, their products need to interface with internal systems of their customers, most commonly EAMs - Enterprise AssetManagement systems. Building EAM integrations is hard: one will cost $30k -$500k and take up to 18 months to complete. As integrations are a part of onboarding, they make sales process slow and products expensive, ultimately limiting number of companies that can benefit from them.

Makini builds infrastructure that eliminates the need for individual EAM integrations altogether, and enables connections across systems –all via one, simple API. We make onboardings low-touch and entry price-points low, helping our customers get their products into hands of a much larger number of companies, and do it fast.

We exist to multiply the impact of our customers and take pride in solving complex infrastructure problems to free them up and concentrate on creating value, not building integrations.

About the role

You will be the one who will help us achieve this mission. You will have direct influence on delivery of all work to our customers. As a Head of Operations, you will manage an international team with 40+ people under management, balance resources and workload, interact with all main internal and external stakeholders and report directly to the COO.

You will

  • Mentor and motivate teams, ensure deep level of business context and engagement.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing for current and medium-term business needs.
  • Measure and manage performance of teams and individuals.
  • Ensure we meet deadlines and quality benchmarks in our deliveries to customers. Manage effective communication with the customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively manage communications and relationships with the customers, vendors, and other key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Continuously measure, improve and scale processes, systems, and organization as required to achieve optimal productivity.
  • Come up with strategic initiatives and support objectives set by the executive team.

We are looking for

  • Strong leadership
  • >5 years of experience in managing projects.
  • Experience with 40-120 people under management.
  • Technical curiosity to understand different pieces of the product and how to they fit with each other.
  • Strategic, analytical thinker who thrives with autonomy.
  • Bias for action.
  • Growth mindset.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with geographically diverse and distributed teams.
