Qualer Asset Maintenance is the cloud asset management and calibration software built by Qualer, a San Diego company that MasterControl acquired in March 2025 and now offers as MasterControl Asset Excellence. Labs and manufacturers in life sciences and other regulated industries use it to schedule calibration and maintenance, whether the work is done in-house or by outside vendors. Its core data covers assets, maintenance plans, service orders, as-found and as-left measurements, and the certificates auditors ask for. A predictive maintenance product reads Qualer assets through Makini's Unified API and matches each monitored instrument to its Qualer asset, so its alerts point to the record the lab already keeps. Where the connection permits writes, it can open a work order when readings drift out of tolerance. Where service history is exposed, a quality workflow can check that an instrument's calibration is current before a batch runs, and an OEM can review the equipment it supplied to plan parts and service. A Qualer user signs in through Makini Link, embedded in the vendor's product or sent as a magic link, so credentials never pass through the vendor's application. Data then syncs on an interval set by the Makini plan, not in real time, which suits due-date tracking better than live instrument status. Qualer serves both equipment owners and calibration service providers, and its API separates owner-side asset records from provider-side client data, so confirm which kind of account the customer is connecting.

Some editions of Qualer Asset Maintenance expose an API, but it is often limited, legacy, or inconsistent between versions, and many on-prem deployments have no usable API at all. Makini gives you one modern REST API for Qualer Asset Maintenance that lets you read and write Qualer Asset Maintenance data, even for legacy or on-prem instances. You build against Makini once instead of integrating with Qualer Asset Maintenance directly.
You integrate Qualer Asset Maintenance through Makini's Unified API. Authenticate once and Makini normalizes Qualer Asset Maintenance data into a single consistent schema you can read from and write to inside your product. The same connection reaches Qualer Asset Maintenance plus 2,000+ other ERP, WMS and CMMS systems, so you build one integration instead of one per system.
Through Makini you can read and write Qualer Asset Maintenance's core records as normalized, standardized resources, in both directions: pull data out of Qualer Asset Maintenance and push updates back in. Every field is mapped to a consistent Makini schema, so you work with the same object model across Qualer Asset Maintenance and every other connected system.
Days, not quarters. Because Makini already builds and maintains the Qualer Asset Maintenance connector, you do not reverse-engineer the integration yourself: you authenticate and start reading and writing Qualer Asset Maintenance data through the Unified API, typically within a few days. A Qualer Asset Maintenance integration built in-house usually takes months plus ongoing maintenance.
Yes. Makini connects to Qualer Asset Maintenance over encrypted connections on SOC 2 Type II certified infrastructure, and handles Qualer Asset Maintenance credentials for you so they are never exposed to your app. You authenticate once, and access runs through Makini's managed, auditable layer. The same security model applies across Qualer Asset Maintenance and every other connected system.
Makini owns the maintenance. When Qualer Asset Maintenance changes its API, versions, or endpoints, Makini updates the connector, and your integration keeps working with no changes on your side. You get a stable Unified API with webhooks, and Qualer Asset Maintenance upkeep stays off your roadmap.
